1 - When you write, do you have problems with emotional scenes? Can you make yourself cry?
Sometimes I do. But that’s when I know I’ve written a good scene. When I’ve put all of myself into it and I can feel it as I write
2 - Can you tell us what you feel is the most emotional thing you’ve ever written? (Book or particular scene.)
In a number of books I have mentioned certain emotions and issues people face when they lose someone they love. The guilt, the pain, the memories and even the dreams that are so real that when you wake up it hurts. I’ve felt all those things, and for a long time I couldn’t discuss it, still can’t really but I can get it out by writing it. I’ve had people tell me that those scenes just felt so real, and in a way they are.
3 -So you write and you do book covers. What do you do in your spare time?
Read. A lot. LOL If I have any down time that isn’t being mum, playing with the kids, spending time with hubby….then I read.
4 - How do you deal with writer’s block? Or how do you think you would if you haven’t had the problem yet?
I had another author I really admire and look up to help me through this just recently. She said go through my WIP and write 1k on each book. When I find a book I want or can write more on then follow through with it. It’s really helped when I have felt blocked, unmotivated or just a bit lost.
5 - Do you have any hobbies?
Originally graphics was my hobby, and it slowly became a career. Now if I’m not writing, designing or reading, I just want to spend time with my family. I don’t really care what we do, as long as it’s together. I’m pretty simple. LOL
Straightening his back, he met Jared's gaze.
"Fine. Let's take a seat and get this over with, shall we?"
"Is that the way you talk to all of your clients? Cause I have to say, I'm surprised you get much business then," drawled Jared.
Ignoring the comment, Seth led them to one of the booths. He cast a glance towards the kitchen, but Sal seemed to be preoccupied. Maybe telling the man to just ‘go for it’ hadn’t been a smart move. Something told him things were going to cost more than he thought.
Taking a seat opposite one another on the old scuffed booth with weathered red leather seating, that he absently noted to himself had to be added to the ever growing list of things that needed replacing, Seth launched straight into professional mode. He needed details to come up with something that the future bride wanted and that’s all he was focused on. At no time did he notice how good Jared looked, or how muscular he had gotten. Seth hadn’t even taken note of Jared’s soft pink lips or his large firm hands.
