In all his relationships, Darren Fielding never found the level of intimacy he witnessed between Thomas Williams and his sub, Peter, the day of Peter’s “rebirth.” Not only that, he never realized such intimacy was possible. For two years, Thomas’s business card has been burning a hole in his wallet. When Darren’s lover moves on, maybe it’s finally time to see where that card takes him.
Collars & Cuffs’s new barman, JJ Taylor, is really conflicted right now. He went to the club with a very specific purpose, already convinced of what he’d find there. Except it’s not what he expected at all. He certainly didn’t anticipate finding himself drawn to the new wannabe Dom. Nor could he have guessed the direction that attraction would lead him. Old love, new love, vows, pain, rage, moving in, moving on…. The members of Collars & Cuffs face an event that touches some of them deeply, but it will only reinforce what they already know: together they are stronger, and some bonds cannot be broken. Amazon | AllRomance | Dreamspinner Ben Have the characters tell about a typical day in their life. I groaned when I realized the sun would already be up by the time I got out of bed. I’d worked until nearly two in the morning, so by the time I got home, I was dead on my feet. All I wanted was to grab a shower and crawl into bed. Imagine my surprise when I opened the door, and found Scott waiting for me. He rushed over and hugged me, and the stress drained from my body. “Welcome home, Sir. I have dinner for you, if you’re hungry.” “I could eat,” I told him. “What are we having?” “Breaded eggplant – sorry, aubergine - parmigiana with oven baked fries.” My stomach rumbled. “Sounds good. Do I have time to take a quick shower? The new guy dropped some simple syrup, and I’m all sticky.” “Sure. I have it in the oven, and it’ll keep.” The shower felt so damned good. My muscles started to unknot with the spray beating down on them. I jolted a little when I felt hands on my back, rubbing deep into the muscles. “Oh, damn.” “You work too hard,” Scott said, stepping in and pulled the curtain closed behind him. “I can’t wait for our honeymoon. Nothing to do but enjoy each other’s company.” “Less talk, more rubbing.” He worked the muscles hard, rubbing them until they screamed, but as much as it hurt, it also felt good. I hadn’t had a good massage in forever. I shut the water off, because in this building it went cold quickly. Scott served up my dinner, and I have to admit it was far tastier than I thought it would be. He then herded me into the bedroom, where he gave me a very, very relaxing blow job, and put me in the right frame of mind to sleep. I couldn’t have been asleep too long when my phone rang. I fumbled around trying to find it. When I did, everything narrowed to the words my boss, Leo Hart spoke to me. “I need you to come down to the club with Scott.” I sat up in bed. “What’s going on?” “Peter and Jeff are coming down, too. Don’t let Scott see the newspaper, okay? Just get him here.” “I was coming down anyway. I have to work with JJ some today.” “Oh, I’m glad he’s coming in. We’ll need someone to brew coffee and keep our cups filled.” “Leo? Can you tell me what’s happening?” Leo paused for a moment. “Honestly, I think it’s best if we talk about it when everyone is here. Is that okay? Believe me, I wouldn’t do this if it weren’t important.” And he wouldn’t. Leo was one of the strongest men I knew. If he was this rattled, something bad must have happened. I told him I’d be there, and hung up the phone. “Who was it?” Scott asked sleepily. “Leo. He needs us to come down to the club right away.” That had him awake in an instant. “Why? What’s wrong?” “He didn’t say, but I get the feeling it’s going to be bad.” Scott was quiet for a moment, but then began getting dressed. I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist. “No matter what, pup, remember I love you.” I hoped he listened, because I had a feeling whatever was going to happen at the club would be really, really bad.
Meet K.C. Wells: Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C. WELLS always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way. K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, when the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings—writing about men in love was even hotter…. K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career. The laptop still has no idea of what hit it… it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes. And as for those men in love that she writes about? The list of stories just waiting to be written is getting longer… and longer…. We are the voices that live inside Will’s head. The ones who whisper to him constantly, beckoning him to speak of our adventures, to tell of our love, and perhaps, if we’re in a mood, kill a person or two. We guide his hand as he tells our tales where love is the most powerful force, but must be worked for, molded, and finally, embraced. There can be no shortcuts or substitutions on the path to a happily ever after. We hope you will join with us as Will fulfills his obligation to ensure our stories are told and, we hope, enjoyed. “Honey, I’m home.” Alex laughed and came out of the kitchen to greet his husband. “We’ve talked about this, right? You do not walk into this apartment and talk to me like I’m the little wife.” Leo kissed him soundly on the cheek. “Aw, but you’d look great in an apron, holding a glass of beer out for your weary, hard-working hubby.” He smirked. “And besides, no one in their right mind would call you little.” Alex quirked his eyebrows. “One, you don’t drink beer, which is why there’s a glass of chilled chardonnay on the living room table, waiting for you. Two, excuse me—weary? Hard-working? You’ve been standing around in leather chaps and a harness, watching while guys do all manner of things to each other, which probably included a lot of fucking, because, hey, it’s Saturday night, right?” Leo sighed happily. “What can I say? I love my job.”
